Minimalist Lifestyle - Clean Eating Super Bowl Game Plan

Super Bowl Game Plan Clean Eating

Given the fact that my fantasy football draft was held yesterday, the ole NFL fire has been lit! I host a draft party at my house every year and know exactly what it takes to feed twenty hungry peeps. They all love what I make but I think I could step-up my game a bit when it comes to wellness. Let's admit it, cream cheese and wing sauce do not a healthy diet make. So when I came across My Clean Kitchen's Super Bowl Game Plan, today I decided it had to be a sign. Consisting of a tasty line-up of masculine (yet healthy) appetizers, this game plan could be tailored to fit most football party atmospheres.

  • Spicy Sweet Potato Chips
  • Spicy Chicken Wings
  • Rosemary Chipotle Roasted Almonds
  • Turkey Bacon Wrapped Brussels Sprouts
  • Chipotle Bean Dip
  • No Bun Balsamic Sliders

A cool little website with a lot of cool ideas, My Clean Kitchen appears to have been born from the vision of two foodie enthusiasts. Sara and Jessica traveled the globe and developed a close bond for all things local, wholesome, and delicious.

"My business partner Sara and I publish the site together. We are both committed to healthy, local and organic cooking. Our motto is Just Cook! We believe that anyone can cook and encourage our readers not to be afraid of cooking. We also promote an 80/20 philosophy. No one can be healthy 100% of the time- enjoy a little indulgence 20% of the time." -Jessica Warrens

As we minimalists navigate a world of overly processed, on-demand eating options it is always great to know there are foodie subcultures dedicated to the opposite. I especially thank Jessica and Sara for allowing us all to be human and not healthy eaters 100% of the time! Just like minimalist living, a clean eating lifestyle does not have to be drastic - every little step counts!
