e-Memorial.net Pays Tribute to Flight MH17 Tragedy
I have had several social media acquaintances pass away and it appeared as though loved ones were at a loss on how to handle memorials coming through social media. I have also been impacted by, and wished to send, condolences to several deceased celebrities. Now, there is a social app that allows me to do so. eMemorial is a free online obituary and memorial application on web and Facebook that lets anyone create virtual memory entries to remember loved ones that have passed.
Most recently, eMemorial pays their respect to the individuals lost in the flight MH17 tragedy by creating online obituaries for them. Dedicated to the crew and passengers of the flight, eMemorial aims to encourage Facebook users to pay their respect to the individuals involved in this tragic incident.
This social media app gives virtual memorials for the flight’s 15 crew members and 283 passengers (59 more victims than flight MH370), enabling friends, families and well-wishers to pay tribute to them by leaving virtual flowers and Facebook comments. The eMemorials are still being added as more information is available about the victims. With this app, Facebook users all over the world can digitise their thoughts and prayers for the casualties and show their support.
Technology has connected the human race like never before, yet lags behind when it comes to death and mourning. The eMemorial social app is the first of its kind appears to fill a void in the online space. The ability to not only memorialize personal loved ones but also share your thoughts on public tragedies is truly unique and highly therapeutic.
