Send Someone a Glitter Bomb, Huh?

Is sending someone glitter a thing!? That was my first question when I heard about SendSomeoneGlitter.com and apparently it is. After a quick bit of Googling, I soon discovered mailing your enemies a "glitter bomb," or envelope filled with loose glitter, is considered one great way to ruin his or her day. But, that sounds so unsavory, and today's blog is all about being fun, young, and business savvy far beyond one's years. Here's the story of how glitter bombing became super cute:

Once upon a time, three little girls convinced their web developer father to build them a website. Not only a website, but a working Woo commerce platform, where for $10 three "glitter elves" build and distribute glitter bombs to customers in the US and beyond from their secret (and highly colorful) stash. These cute little blond-haired elves address the sparkle-loaded envelopes by hand and promptly mail the glitter bomb to any address. While initially just for fun, orders rolled in almost immediately and today the three little glitter elves are in the preliminary stages of an IPO and are in talks with the American Girl brand to develop a line of glitter-inspired doll fashions.

While of course some of the above excerpt is fun fiction, most of it is a look into what the entrepreneurial spirit can do for young children. The glitter elves are learning how capitalism works, what it means to be accountable and produce results, and how to build a company culture. These girls make glitter bombs so devilish they are adorable!!
