That Stuff We Can't Stop Thinking About

Everyone has had that moment of Déjà vu, that news story replayed over and over in their heads, and that dream they keep waking up to, but have we ever stopped and thought much about it? Jeanne Sanderson has and she wants you to do the same. Her new blog, Observe Your Signal, provides commentary about everyday signals that point us in positive directions.

"The idea that we get guidance from God or the Universe isn't new. We ask and ask. And I think sometimes we're already getting it but not 'getting' it. If I'm going to look at my life, I can't wear somebody else's glasses. So, how do I figure out what's a signal and what's not? It boils down to two things. It has to stick. And it has to click."  -Jeanne Sanderson, Founder, Observe Your Signal

Part spirituality, part self-help, observing one's signals is truly an art form. According to Jeanne, signals are everywhere and they are positive and highly personal. Here is her two-step process to uncover signals:

  1. Write down and say out loud what it is that keeps running through your head.
  2. As you are saying your narrative out loud, keep track of all related stories, memories, and people that it brings to your mind, regardless of how odd.

Eventually, a signal will be uncovered if it was meant to be found. You will discover peace through signals as well as a deeper connection to your everyday life. Jeanne welcomes anyone to visit her new blog and share his or her own signals and stories of spirituality. While her blog is still young, Jeanne Sanderson hopes to inspire others though her own experiences and watch the conversation grow.
